Granville 5K Ambulance Chase


The Granville Health System Foundation has announced the winners of the first annual Granville 5K Ambulance Chase. The race was held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 on a certified 5K course in Oxford to benefit the expansion project at Granville Medical Center.

Nearly 150 runners participated in the 5K run (3.1 miles). Kids ages 10 and under participated in the 100-Yard Kid’s Dash held on the football field at Oxford Recreation Complex. A 1-Mile Family Walk was also held.

3. Nick Hope 19:51

Top Female Runners:
1. Barb Rote 22:39
2. Nicole Hebert 24:00
3. Leigh Gregory 25:13

Top Girls in Kid’s Dash:
1. Jodi Frazier, age 9
2. Chloe Short, age 9
3. Cayton Elizabeth Sievert, age 8 (tie)
3. Courtney Vaughan, age 7 (tie)

Top Boy in Kid’s Dash:
1. Allen Lee Daniel, age 3

1-Mile Family Walk:
1. Mason Short, age 7
